ACT Framework: Elimination of Female Genital Mutilation

April 2020: At this closed event for spe­cial­ists, Prof Lic­hand will be dis­cussing and ex­chang­ing views on the cre­ation of The ACT Frame­work, a new frame­work on the Elim­i­na­tion of Fe­male Gen­i­tal Mu­ti­la­tion (FGM).

In this UNF­PA-UNICEF Joint Pro­gramme, de­vel­oped in part­ner­ship with Drex­el Uni­ver­si­ty’s Dorn­sife School of Pub­lic Health and in con­sul­ta­tion with ex­perts around the world, a new frame­work for mea­sur­ing and track­ing changes in so­cial norms re­lat­ed to FGM will pro­vide pro­gramme plan­ners with new prac­ti­cal re­sources.
