June 2018: The Center for Child Well-being and Development at the University of Zurich along with the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development are glad to announce a one-day workshop on technologies linked to child and youth development.
The goal of this data collection is to document prevalence of traditional practices that harm the development and well-being of children. Furthermore, the study involves several randomized interventions and behavioral experiments that will shed light on underlying motivations and behavioral mechanisms. According to Simon Hänni, senior researcher at CCWD: “This deep understanding is key when designing policies intended to address harmful traditional practices in the future.”
