Debate: Problem Solving Interventions Prof. Lichand – Prof. Berndt

March 2018: The Uni­ver­si­ty of Zurich Mag­a­zine pub­lished a de­bate en­ti­tled “In the en­gine room of the world”.

The de­bate was held be­tween Prof. Guil­herme Lic­hand from the Cen­ter for Child Well-be­ing and De­vel­op­ment and Prof. Chris­t­ian Berndt from the De­part­ment of Ge­og­ra­phy. Both of them talked about the tele­scop­ic and mi­cro­scop­ic anal­o­gy be­hind dif­fer­ent kinds of prob­lem solv­ing in­ter­ven­tions and how they af­fect the peo­ple in de­vel­op­ing coun­tries.
